My current projects include:
- Delivering work on behalf of Neath Port Talbot Councils Wildlife Team. I am responsible for all aspects of reserve and woodland management. I regularly manage contractors, review management plans and keep health and safety policies up to date. Responsible for the removal of invasive species on site. I also recruit and manage groups of volunteers, carrying out practical habitat conservation and woodland management across the NPT sites.
- Delivering The Woodland Trust volunteer management and maintenance programme.
- Coppicing and habitat creation for the Butterfly conservation.
- Clearing encroaching Willow from a species rich grassland on under the WTSWW ‘Wildlife Sites Project’ on behalf of Banwen local council. This includes felling and pesticide application.
- Managing Volunteer groups on grassland habitats on behalf of the Swansea Council Nature Conservation Team.
- Tree planting and Reserve maintenance on behalf of The Woodland Trust.
- Scrub clearance and habitat management for the charity ‘Buglife’.
- Pond creation

- Cleft fence creation and installation often from felled and milled timber on site.
- Rustic bench creation and installation (using milled timber from sustainable sources.)
